To increase operational productivity, all Ukrainian and global agricultural enterprises utilize various types of specialized machinery. Consequently, new models of tractors, grain trucks, semi-trailers, trailers, and storage bins are released every year. All new equipment is improved based on previously identified shortcomings and is maximally aimed at easing the farmers’ workload. One such novelty is the BNP-20-2 transfer wagon, developed by Egritech.
BNP-20-2 Grain Transfer Wagon: Price and Specifications
The BNP-20-2 transfer and storage bin is a large-scale piece of equipment for harvesting grain crops, resembling a large container equipped with openings and gates for loading and unloading grain. It is constructed using metals resistant to mechanical and climatic impacts.
Despite being classified as large-scale machinery in Ukraine, this grain transfer wagon features relatively compact dimensions (length – 6.83 m, width – 2.69 m, height – 3.69 m). Thanks to these dimensions, the BNP-20-2 can be transported on public roads without the need for prior special permits. It is capable of carrying 15 tons of cargo in the grain bin, with a body volume of 20 cubic meters.
The wagon is characterized by easy handling and the ability to maneuver even on narrow road sections. The unloading height varies from 3.97 m to 4.82 m, allowing for various grain unloading methods, including tipping.
The BNP-20-2 is equipped with a tandem dual-axle suspension with leaf springs and torque rods, ensuring stable movement even on uneven roads. Thanks to the track width (2.05 m), disc rims, and 560/60 R22.5 tubeless tires, high-quality road grip and reliable transport are guaranteed, even in off-road conditions.
The bin uses a hydro-pneumatic braking system powered by the tractor, allowing for reliable and uniform braking even at maximum load. This system is known for its low wear due to the even distribution of pressure.
If purchased through intermediaries, the price of this storage bin model can be quite high. Therefore, Egritech offers its customers the option to make a purchase directly through the official website. You simply need to enter your contact details on the page of the specific equipment you are interested in and wait for a call from Egritech representatives. This way, you can receive detailed consultation on the equipment and significantly save both money and time.
Operational Features
To use the BNP-20-2 storage bin, it must first be attached to a tractor with a power of at least 150 hp. The bin then moves across the field parallel to the combine, allowing for uninterrupted harvest transfer during, collection. Once the bin is full, it is transported to the edge of the field, where the grain is transferred into specialized grain trucks.
These actions help optimize the combine’s field performance and save time and money for farmers.
