On May 8, we celebrate Remembrance and Reconciliation Day with the world.
The history of this day dates back to the distant past, it was on May 8 that an undisputed victory over Nazism was won.
The contribution of Ukrainians to this Victory is invaluable – millions of our compatriots died for a peaceful sky, not only over Ukraine, but over the whole world.
In Ukraine, the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation has been officially celebrated since 2015, in accordance with the Presidential Decree, but the first events to honor the victims of World War II took place on May 8, 2014.
Unfortunately, today Ukrainian soldiers with weapons in their hands are again forced to defend the borders of our state, peace and tranquility in homes, happy childhood of our children!
May peace, tranquility and goodness finally reign in our blessed land!
Today, we once again remember those who gave their lives for our present and future and say: “Never again!”
